ID confidence and determination | 100% seen just before dawn in flight; quite a large nightjar, seemed to have pale markings on the upperparts and possibly even some pale in the wing but very difficult to see, it wasn't quite light enough, eyeshine was yellow. [Ed.: very like known recordings] |
